In 2013, AIA|DC developed a program to help train and nurture the next generation of leaders in architecture. In 5 years, this award-winning program has spread to Detroit, Denver, Miami, Atlanta and Houston. in 2018, AIA Indiana is launched the first cohort of the AIA Indiana Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program.
We’re looking to secure a promising new group of scholars for the 2020-2021 year-long program that consists of nine half-day sessions attended by a competitively selected group of 16 emerging professionals.
An emerging professional is defined as someone who has graduated from college with an architecture degree and is within ten years of their first licensure. Prospective participants must go through an application process where proven career success, community involvement, and the individual’s firm support will be considered.
Every Tuesday in June, the AIA Indiana Christopher Kelley Leadership Development program Executive Committee will host Application 101 sessions. The sessions will provide interested scholars with an overview of the program and application process, followed by Q&A.
